Lecture by prof. Valérie Cormier-Daire
Ghent University Hospital
We have the honour and pleasure to invite you to a lecture by prof. Valérie Cormier-Daire from the University of Paris Descartes, laureate of the Princess Lilian Foundation Visiting Professorship 2018.
Prof. Cormier-Daire is a leading expert in the field of skeletal dysplasias. Her research focusses on the role of ADAMTS(L) proteins in the microfibrillar network and TGF-beta signalling in relation to acromelic dysplasia, using cellular models and adamtsl2 or fbn1 mouse models. Furthermore, she is highly invested in identifying new disease genes and generating appropriate animal models to promote a better understanding of the disease and opening new avenues for effective treatment.
The lecture will take place at Ghent University Hospital on Friday, March 16th at 11AM in the seminar room of MRB II (ground floor). Topic of the lecture is "Genotype-phenotype correlations: the example of FBN1 and MAP3K".
Admission is free, but for organisational reasons we ask you to register for the event via this link: https://webappsx.ugent.be/eventManager/events/Lect...
