Stockage: Bij kamertemperatuur, behalve op vrijdagen: bewaren in de koelkast; niet invriezen. At room temperature, except on Fridays: store in the refrigerator; do not freeze.
Traitement: Buisjes met Na-heparine en verzamelmedium kunnen worden aangevraagd via beenmerg.cmgg@uzgent.be of telefonisch op 09/332 5031 – 2477. Bewaar deze buisjes bij 2–8°C. Verzamel nooit beenmerg / bloed in een medium dat de vervaldatum heeft overschreden of in een troebel medium. Tubes with sodium heparin and collection medium can be requested via beenmerg.cmgg@uzgent.be or by phone at 09/332 5031 – 2477. Store these tubes at 2–8°C. Never collect bone marrow / blood in a medium that has passed its expiration date or in a cloudy medium

Traitement: Plaats het biopt onmiddellijk in een steriel recipiënt met steriel kweekmedium of—indien niet beschikbaar—steriele fysiologische zoutoplossing (geen formaline!). Place immediately in a sterile container with sterile culture medium or—if unavailable—sterile physiological saline solution (no formalin!)

Traitement: Plaats het biopt onmiddellijk in een steriel recipiënt met steriel kweekmedium of—indien niet beschikbaar—steriele fysiologische zoutoplossing (geen formaline!). Place immediately in a sterile container with sterile culture medium or—if unavailable—sterile physiological saline solution (no formalin!)

Certains types de tumeurs et de maladies malignes du sang et de la moelle osseuse impliquent des anomalies du matériel génétique (= défaut génétique) des cellules attaquées. La détection de ces anomalies peut être important, tant pour l’établissement d’un diagnostic correct que pour les prévisions concernant le déroulement de la maladie (le pronostic) ou la réaction à la thérapie.

Pour combattre des cancers malins du sang et de la moelle osseuse, tels que des lymphomes, la leucémie et des myélomes multiples, la greffe de cellules souches hématopoïétique constitue une arme importante. L’évaluation du chimérisme (évaluation de la proportion de cellules du donneur) après la greffe est utile pour le suivi du succès (permanent) de la greffe ou pour le dépistage précoce et la confirmation de la rechute (relapse) de la maladie.

Dans le formulaire de Demande examen génétique cellules malignes, les maladies malignes sont énumérées pour lesquelles le Centre de Génétique Médicale de Gand examine l’anomalie génétique dans les cellules malignes ou dans les cellules du sang ou de la moelle osseuse après la greffe.
